Saint Francis University invites applications for a full time position in Career Services as an Assistant/Associate Director, Employer Relations/Internships. The Assistant/Associate Director, Employer Relations/Internships is directly responsible to the Director of Career Services and Adult Degree & Continuing Studies/Associate Dean to provide leadership, structure, and overall coordination of the internship program. The position works closely with students, employers, faculty, staff and alumni including the alumni director, professional colleagues, and the local community. Prime responsibilities include employer outreach and employer relations, alumni outreach and alumni relations, student assistance in obtaining internships, student preparedness for the application and interview process, and oversight of internship records and reports.
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in marketing, business, communications, leadership, human resources, or other related field preferred. Demonstrated experience working with employers, community outreach, with corporate relations/sales experience. Position requires a high energy level, excellent speaking, writing, and interpersonal skills, strong organizational ability, proficiency with computers, and strong ability to advise and career coach students. Must have the ability to communicate information to all internship stakeholders (students, faculty, staff, employers, parents, and alumni). Travel required with some evenings and weekend events.
