Saint Francis University invites applications for a full time position in Career Services as an Assistant Director, Employer Relations/Internships. The Assistant Director, Employer Relations/Internships is directly responsible to the Director of Career Services to provide leadership, structure, and overall coordination of the internship program at Saint Francis University with major emphasis on employer outreach, alumni outreach and internship development for students. The position works closely with employers, faculty, alumni, and students and must be able to build relationships and collaborate effectively.
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Demonstrated experience working with employers, alumni or community outreach; corporate relations/sales experience considered and higher education experience a plus. Demonstrated ability to set and meet deadlines and goals is required. Position also requires a high energy level, excellent speaking, writing, and strong interpersonal skills, and strong organizational ability. Must have the ability to communicate to all stakeholders including students, faculty, staff, employers, parents, and alumni. Extensive local and regional travel required.
