The Smeal College of Business is seeking an Assistant/Associate Director of Alumni Career Services. The Assistant/Associate Director will engage Smeal College of Business alumni from all degree programs by providing individualized career coaching, tools and programming to meet their needs in the job search process. This will consist of the provision of one-on-one counseling on all aspects of career development both remotely and in-person. The successful candidate will also contribute to the overarching ACS strategy and direction, actively supporting its vision, implementation, and execution. A metrics and outcomes-driven approach applied to departmental growth strategies is desired. Typically requires a Master's degree or higher plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preference will be given to candidates with: career coaching and alumni relations experience; familiarity with career trends and diverse job search resources; activity documentation and online platform management; business development and employer relations; and knowledge of best practices in recruitment, talent acquisition, and human resources management. The successful candidate must possess exemplary interpersonal skills, professional presence, and an engaging demeanor. Strong networking skills and the ability to build relationships at multiple levels including both internal and external constituents and employers are a must. Positive employee engagement should be rooted in a vision of organizational leadership. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
